Silver Aro 5' Leap

Today I came home and didn't see my silver aro in the tank. Already knew it wasn't a good sign. I looked all around the tank and it was no where to be found. After about 10 minutes looking high and low i found it dried up like a potato chip behind a couch approx 5' away. Here's some pics... btw tank was covered, but he must have flipped the cover open and over the couch.

This pic hes standing straight up as he was wedged between the back of the couch and the chair.

If you are using egg crate as cover then this kinda incident always happen. if you use glass cover, the chances is lower unless the fish is strong enough to lift the whole piece of glass or break the glass...

Very very sorry to see your aro like that.Such a shame. How much weight do you think you had on top? Just hoping you can help someone else save thiers. Did it jump through front or back of the lid?
