I have a an almost 2' black aro, but didn't take the risk of putting it with an adult Oscar yet. My aro lives peacefully with a pair of discus!

yeah i dunno about putting oscars and aros together. i tried it but the oscar just kept bothering the aro, biting at him and whatnot so they had to be separated. i would say maybe the only way it could work is if you have a large enough tank so that the oscar can still have its territory without it feeling like the aro is interfering.
