thanks and they are cichla orino. but that article did help, looks like i should pic up some algae wafers and see if it helps.

You feed your plecos what? I actually thought Plecos can survive on the surface stuff that they're sucking up, I guess not? hehe

most of the time he is eating freeze dried krill. never really cleans or eats the algae in the tank though lol

maybe try feeing your pleco more varied foods, mine devour cucumber and watermelon. do you feed it algea wafers?

um not sure. he never eats the algae in the tank, but he goes crazy for krill or market prawns.
