wow , i thought someone had crossed a pig with an arowana for a min then ,, i would definatly fish him out and open the mouth to see if something is stuck in side , any decor missing from inside the tank ?

i would just go for it personally , but then if it is a broken jaw and you hold him down and open his mouth then that could really hurt so your call on that one ,,

i would fish him out and at least get a good inspection ,

Do you think the lower jaw looks normal? the way its sticking out like that? If you do then at least i know his eating problem has nothing to do with that.....
Now i see it, in the side shots. Theres not much you can do from what i can see. Best idea i can think of is knock it out with clove oil and take a close examination of the jaw.

Your aro looks of decent size, say 16-18". Large adult aros will go 4-6weeks without eating while holding young. Red devil had her aro go over 7 weeks without eating.

If the jar is broken, it will take time to heal. Could be that your aro is healing which means no jaw movement. Personally I would wait it out, if it looks to weak to live then put it down, but first give it a chance to heal. Only thing you should be doing is providing pristine water conditions.
