I just noticed that one of the scales on my silver aro is VERY much lighter and reflective in color than the rest of its scales. My water is good and the silver seems healthy. I also just did another water change, added some salt, and raised the temp. for awhile. Only other thing I can do is keep an eye on it.

Anybody ever hear of this before?

Could this be a disease?

Should I worry?

* Sorry no pics! :(

i have also seen this on mine.
usually whenit hits or rubs on something hard
it has never lead to any problems though

heres wut i believed happened, your arow probably did something to knock off one of its scales, now when an arow loses a scale it grows back very fast, BUT!!! it can take several months for the scale to regain its normal color like the other one

so its nothing to worrie about

my arow has lost quite afew when she jumped

but they all returned and eventually regained their color
