Silver aro trouble

Good looking fish but I'm going to try to keep it with a few other fish. I think if I start him out small with the other fish larger then as he grows he will tolerate them.

Wow. I must have a really mellow Silver...he's 13", in with 3 7" Oscars, a 4" Convict, and a 12" TSN... I have no aggression issues at all. The silver doesn't even act like there is anyone else in the tank. He has been with them since he was 6" - maybe that has something to do with it.

Definitely. If you grow an Arowana up with other fish it will be much less aggressive than it living alone for a long time and then adding fish.

Thanks nithin yeah hes really started to get a nice shine since I have been feeding him mussels. Must have something in them.
May trade dat for a peacock bass or something less shy. But then I dont want fights. Maybe when I put rimmin his bigger tank he might b ok

Our 18" Silver aro is super agressive..just bit my wife for scopping out dead worm in tank & killed its only tank mate a medium sized pleco
We are having trouble trying to get ours to eat. Suddenly stopped eating and is banging its head into the walls of the tank like in a frenzy
for no reason. Have you ever had this issue and what are u feeding yours
 
No not the weird behavior but the not eating happened with him about two months when I tried to feed different pellets. He only likes cichlid gold and mussels and prawns. My old aro however stopped eating and went a bit nuts n jumped out. Maybe it's a funny size for them kinda like adolescents lol

I've got a silver arowana, I've tried black jack knife fish and a pretty big tinfoil bass he beat the bass pretty bad n knife dyed so guess he got bullied so only tank mate pleco n he's gud with him.
