Silver Aro vs. Black Aro

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Although I have nevered owned a silver or black, the blacks I have come across did not have drop eye.

Also, the blacks under good lighting have some very nice colours, slightly redish/pinkish finnage even when they are grown up. The silvers just tend to be just silver.

Silvers are for the frugal arokeeper, but both are impressive specimens. I'd try keeping a silver first before spending a large amount for a black.

i think blacks are beautiful. the only time ive seen them they were abot 2 ft in a pet shop, going for about $500. they were not black, but had this beautiful silverish blue tint to them. i would really like to own one one day

Dimension is more important than volume...to certain extend obviously..
