The LFS has a tank with around 5 fire eels and two TTs together and the person told that they don't cause any problem

Crowded LFS tank has very little to do with actual behavior in a home aquarium. Not to mention that you have two people in this thread that have experienced problems. The person at the LFS is wrong, and is only interested in taking your money.
