Silver arowana and Striped raphael catfish new additions!

Just got home from buying our new silver arowana and my favourite little guy a striped raphael (talking) catfish!

This is Bowser

and the silver arowana (my boyfriends- he doesn't care to name fish) just a little guy right now though

Bowser needs about two cans of fish food to pack down his neck, then he'll be happy.

lol he eats like legit 10 sinking shrimp pellets but he (well all the catfish) only eat at night and its hilarious they all three of them cram themselves in the cave thing we have even though there are other hiding spots in the tank, i love catfish they are pretty funny little things (some not being so little i guess haha)

Heres all 3 in the cave- there is a little jaguar syno hiding behind the bigger spotted one but hes tucked away where you cant see him haha

lol it came with the tank(bought it off kijiji)- i would prefer to do sand in our next tank but i've heard its a pain so im undecided!

catfish love sand, its all i use...

just unplug your filter when cleaning/redecorating your tank and keep your filter intake higher
