A few minutes ago, I was feeding some grapes to my pacu, and I guess my aro thought they were for him. He got one before it sunk to the bottom and was swimming around with it in his mouth for about 10 minutes before he dropped it.:ROFL:I only wish I had a better camera.:irked:

Like you I was trying to feed my pacu and the aro was quicker. My mbu is the same way. He eats carrot sticks, cucumbers etc.

I thought they were 100% carnivorous, but evidently, I was wrong.

they are carnivores...
i doubt so much fruit and veggies are good for them

My silver aro shot to 30+" in 2 years so I don't think it hurt him too much lol

My aro I had YEARS ago actually LOVED thawed out frozen green peas. Not to get off the subject, but can I see a full tank shot? Are those live plants or am I just seeing your background? Looks great either way.
No, I don't have any live plants. Here's a full tank shot

I would just attatch the pic, but somehow, all the memory on my camera's memory card got completely wiped out:irked:. And I don't have it on my computer anymore because I was having computer issues last week, and everything had to be restarted:irked::irked::irked:.

go get a better camera and then make it happen again

even full carnivores eat plants from time to time... such a cats eating grass or alligator gars eating algae wafers and cucumbers...
