Could be the arowanas got chased and hit his body on an ornament or lid not the oscar bite itself

Well... we are, but he doesn't want many people to know. Because we are both different in the fish hobby, we keep different things that's all. He's my father.

their not alone. My sister loves them too, but I won't get them because a) I feel ( personal opinion) that it is cruel to keep a 6+" fish in a 55 and b) they east any and all plants I have ever tried to keep them with. They are great, active, good looking, tough fish, though. If I had a 1500 planted, or a 125. I would get them again.

Would tell you only to feed them nori because land plants are unhealthy. In the wild, they eat plants and steal good from other fish. that is why they are so far and face such strong jaws.
