Silver Arowana cost?

Hi guys, I was looking at a 6" arowana from the local pets plus and they are looking to get $73 for it. Does this seem like a fair price? He seemed to be very healthy, no bumps or bruises, had his barbels and was a very active swimmer and eater (they fed him a few feeders while I was there). I'm located in CT by the way if that makes any difference.

Not a bad price, could be a little high but depends on local market. The averange price for such here in my area would be around $50. Best if you can see it eating pellets and not live feeders. Live feeders are not very healthy food source.
 
If there is a LFS in an Asian community nearby, go there, way better pricing...My local LFS wanted 79.00 for a 6" silver...drove 45 minutes to an Asian LFS and got 3 - 6" Aros for 70 out the door...23.00 a piece, aint too bad...

Sorry but I do not know what LFS stands for.

I got my Silver Awo' acouple months back at the size of about 5inch for £27.00 .

you can buy them sometimes in my area for about 20$
