300 gal ray tank. It never touches glass. Tons of room to move around. I make a habit of feeding him his surface food before feeding the rays. Otherwise he will go down and steel food off the bottom. Try and keep him from looking down unecessarily.

Only pics I recall seeing of large-ish silvers with no DE were ones Koji posted, thought IIRC none of them were over 2'.
Mines developed de @ about 16" or so. @ that time it was noticable, but now that he's 26+ inches, his body thickness & overall size of it's head has grown so much that his de condition just doesn't look that bad anymore. Really! Can't say that it's reversed itself, but I don't even notice it unless I go looking for it. his de condition never really bothered me anyhow. I'll be picking up my first black aro in December. SO excited!
