silver arowana help

how many 3 inch silver arownas can i house in my 60 gal with my l200 pleco?
i was thinking about getting 5 untill they grow bigger. whats the best number so they wont get agressive. of course my 60 gal is a grow out tank im going to uprgrade my tank, and give some aros away. if anyone can help that would be great!
 
I tried 5 baby black aros and they kicked the crap out of one another. Another member here has 5 or 6 silvers in a 240g but of coarse that tank is 4 times the size of your 60g. Your 60g will be too small to hold a single one of those aros in 5-6 months.
 
I would only put 1 silver aro in a 60 g. It's going to be half as long as your tank in just a few months.
 
what about if i have 3 or 4 aros and get rid of them when they are about 5-6 inches.
and l200 is a green phantom pleco thats the number
how are arowanas and plecos with endlis, will they kill it?

Why bother with the aros if you going to get rid of them? IMO that's just a waste of money buying them and feeding them if your going to get rid of them in a short period time.

Yes and if you can't upgrade to at least a 180 gallon in 6 months and even upgrade to 300+ gallon 1 year after that to house 3 aros I wouldn't bother with them cuz they grow fast.
 
what if i want to keep one in my 60 gal, how long can he live in there? do aros get along good with endli cherries? of course im going to upgrade asap
