Silver Arowana in a 180?

I had someone on another web forum tell me I could house an adult Silver Aro in a 180, is that true?

i have a silver in my 180 along with some other fish, just be sure to do plenty of water changes and have good filtration (canisters!).

i think del's got the same setup???

a 180 could be a good start but i would go bigger eventually

you could keep one in there for about a year or so, but I wouldnt keep one fully grown in a 180g...
Dont get a arowana unless u can house it properly.

A 180g would be good for some time, but NOT for life. Silvers are big fish, and shouldn't really be kept in a big-ish tank.

silver aro grow in a whooping 42 inches so consider having at least 220-240 gallon

how do you get away with the other fish in the tank,my aro will eat anything small enough or worry anything else even had to rehouse my shn tiger because the aro was biting it all the time and both were about 50cm +

I would go for a 3ft. wide tank at least for an adult
