In our favoured fish store they have a silver that is over 36" with a depth of around 18".If I hadnt seen it for myself I wouldnt have believed it.It wasnt caught large either,just grown on and their fish expert who has over 35 years experience assured me that in the right size tank with decent filtration it would not be difficult to grow one on to this size.That is NOT to say that in a smaller tank it still wouldnt grow to that size.
