feeders and beefheart are not a healthy doet for them try pinhead crickets as a treat and wean him onto frozen foods or freshly prepared foods and floating sticks or pelletr are great my little guys love the flakes right now too
be sure you feeders aren't "fatty", mine's eaten hikari carnivore pellets, color enhancing, and you can get crickets small med or lg, feed them powdered hikari pellets and grate a carrot for the crickets to eat before you feed them to your aro. (Carrot provides moisture)
