I have had silver arowanas and I have had jardinis, but I have never had them together and from my observation and from what I have heard that Australian arowanas are more aggressive than the silver arowana. I also "heard" that the best way to have them together is by have a 3-1 ratio per jardini, in other words having at least 2-3 silver arowana to keep the jardini's temper down. Now my question, is that true?

I would guess anything is possible in a big enough tank!

I have done it in the past and in my experienced, it will only work if I transfer the jardini into the silver tank instead of transfer the silver to the jardini tank or introduce all of them in the new tank at the same time.

I would say introduce all of them at the same time.silver grows much faster then jardini,One day your jardini could be missing.

I think it all boils down to the jardini and its temperament. That would go for all fish.

Introducing whichever first or last won't matter if your jar is one SOB like mine.... So good luck and keep us posted... Btw what's the size on jar n silver?
