Done that mate and also introduced the jar in a silvers established tank too... And guess what my jar was 6-8" and ma silver was 12-14"... He beat the s**** out of the silver.... Again temperament is the key here.. :)

I had a 26 inch Jardini with a 3ft silver in an 800g pond and the Jardini the beat Silver until finally one of my red tails took out the jardini. The Jardini was responsible for the death of another jardini and a peacock bass both were over 15 inches. Eventually someone will not make it. Jardini will beat other fish until it kills them.

Jardini = Solo tank... Simple as that... No mid or top level fish will work... Again depending on the temperament of the fish & for that you would have to know the jar first hand... Some hardy bottom dwellers u could try though....

I think I'll just stick to just silvers, jardinis are great looking fish but too aggressive for my taste.... Today at the local fish state I saw a silver arowana about 7 almost 8 inches for "$69.99" but know the guy I'll probably be able to bring it down to $60.00 or if I'm lucky $55.00

The cool thing, is that I found a silver arowana with a nice dark color tail around 7 almost pushing 8 inches for "69.00" but knowing the manager of the local fish store I'll probably be able to get him for $60.00 or if I'm lucky $55.00. The guy there just wants to get ride of this ASAP so hopefully I get lucky

Is it really that expensive? How big is it? A 5-7" would cost say $15-20 in India...
