ok i hav a ? and i know it might sound dumb but i really dont care... i know silvers grow fast and mine is around 5 inches and i really wanna know about how long exactly itll take him to reach a foot cuz i really wanna put him in my 180 but i can right now cuz i need him to ba a little bigger than my oscars hes in a 60 right now thanks for the help

please correct me if im wrong but i think i read its about average of 1/2 inch a month for the few months it is as baby. there to many variables to tell when EXACTLY he will be a foot.

You can't put a 5" aro in with a 3 foot silver aro, it will likely get eaten.

BTW If your tank is 7'x2'x2' it is larger then a 180g tank. Though too small for your 3 footer IMO

depends what u keep feeding it if u want to speed it up give it feeders or live foods..mine took about 5 months from 4in to 12in but i fed it mainly pellets

what r u talking about

In another thread you claimed to have a 3 foot silver aro in a 7'x2'x2' tank and that it could easily turnaround.

Uhm, no, live food does NOT speed up the growing process...just give adequate amounts of food and probably get to a foot in 4-6 months.

from my experience the growth rate of silvers is a fast one but individual growth may differ from one to another so there is no way of knowing exactly how long it will take to get to a foot.
