silver blood parrot

alright, everybody here is entitled to their own opinion, thanks sir.
 
I have a silver aro housed with two BPs. No one bothers the other. The parrots look like they are aggresive when they eat because they lunge at their food to eat, since they cannot close their mouths. Of course you are going to have the "hardcore" fish keepers come out and say that parrots are ugly because they are un-natural man made fish. But who cares about their opinion?? I wouldn't and I don't. If i would listen to what every "expert" here says then I would have some seriously screwed up tanks due to most people contradicting each other. It all depends on the fish IMO. I tend to watch fish that i aquire, and see how agressive they are to tank mates. I will usually go for the smallest, most picked on fish. I have had a few that ended up being super aggressive, and moved them to different tanks, however, as a lot of people in this hobby would agree, it is a lot of trial and error. Of course people are going to stick their nose in and give advice based solely on their opinion, and not expertise, but what can you do? lol.
 
I have 1 Silver Aro with 4 BP and 1 Grn Sev. They get along awesome. The BP stay out of the way of the Aro and they stay on the bottom/middle while the silver gets the top. The BP lunge at the aro food but they clear out when the aro goes to get the food. Overall it's a pretty good combo...I got the idea from a Japanese restaurant lol.
 
it works but i warn you there aggressive feeders,they eat aggressively
 
my arro is 14 inches and hes with a two bparrots,motororay,elephant nose,gsp,glass humphead,two difrent types of ambush leaf fish, ropefish,3angels,Msebae,M argentus,two kyllin parrots,two clownloches,two congo tetras,archer fish,royal pleco,choc pleco,regular pleco,and last but not least a softshell turtle!! DAMN i have to many fish...

Same scenaro as my tank.

The people who think that parrots are ugly are the ones that probably seen the low grade parrots that cannot close their mouth. Instead of parrots, get high grades king kong with mouth that can open and close. Parrots are very responsive to their owner.
 
nah parrots arent cool as Arowanas haha, BTW only Rare and Primitive,Expensive,OddBall Fish make me attracted haha
