silver dat,delhezi,senegal,ornate,red severums

thanks everyone.soon as i saw the reds at my lfs i new i had to have them.lots of people keep silvers in freshwater.mine is a stunning fish.had it about 9 days.it now eats 2-4 large prawns a day.had to take a green terror,firemouth and a larger gold severum back to the lfs to make room for the 3 reds but i think it was worth it.

yeah, i thought so.'ve never seen any red severums bigger than 3 inches so i cant wait for mine to grow.

It's just one of those "everyone says" type of thing about keeping Silvers in brackish. Took awhile before I found someone that showed me his 14" silver that was always in fresh. I quickly called the shop and said "Im comin get it" lol

mine only eats ghost shrimp. I've tried a piece of fresh shrimp but it barely nibbled at it.

only had mine for about 10 days.hes only eating prawns but at least hes eating.didnt eat for a week when i got him.tryed him on nearly everything i can think of and he'll only eat prawns.
