I have them split into groups between several tanks, red hooks start out with pale to red hook,s black bars start out with blue hooks
I have a pretty Big " Blue Hook" that looks like its staying Blue to me! Is there such a thing as a Blue Hook Sliver Dollar????

There are two different forms of Myleus schomburgkii, the thin bar version which has a red hook (ERH) and a thick bar version with a blue hook (EBH). The EBH's get much larger than the ERH's, 13" compared to around 8".

That just means that your blue hook isn't a Myleus schomburgkii. I have some juveniles that were sold to me as Myleus rubripinnis that have more of a blue color hook than normal.

Post a pic of it, it would help more with the ID.
