silver dollar

I bought a silver dollar labeled as a common silver but this one has even spots on both sides of it. Will these spots go away when it gets bigger or is it a spotted silver dollar.

It looks like this but the spots are more even and are bigger.

just wondering what kind it was.

You have a spotted Silver Dollar,they are pretty common also.

Spotted IMO are just as nice as the all silver. Mix them up if find all silver.

Fish looks great. PM Zoodiver if you want info on Silver Dollars, I believe he has the largest number of species on display in the world.

Yep you've got spotted metynnis ive got 4 of these and they are brilliant and ive been breeding and raising young from them.

I just moved my two that I've had for 9 years into a bigger tank. One has spots and one doesn't. The spots haven't gone away yet so I'd say they wont.

I had them in a 29 gallon tank. I took down my 70 gallon saltwater predator tank and now they are in there.
