silver dollars and plants?

its risky.... from my experience, the plant that endured the sd's the best was anubias. there would be chunks missing from the leaves, but i believe my severum did the damage. everything else was eaten.
i used to have SD's and i would go out a buy them a peice of hornwort or some other cheap plant once a week as a treat and they would ALWAYS eat it when i did decide to try and plant their tank a bit i tried java fern which supossedly is bitter and notihng eats it and geuss what ?.... they still ate it

I have hornwort in there right now, been 3 days I catch em nibbling but nothing severe. When I pick up some java fern I am gonna buy a big bunch instead of small plants, could fair out better.
i got 5 16in amazon swords on the way. my friend said those should be fine since they are so big.
Dont bet on it i have tried every combination of the above in the past and they chewed them up every time its a waste of money IMHO
The bigger the plant the better the chance but that never means they wont take their time and nibble it down.
