silver dollars and plants?

I got red hooks, and my heavily planted tank turned into a salad bar for them after a week or two...

Update-

I got 5 potted amazon thru the mail last Thursday. They are not as big as I thought they would be; around 7-8 inches.

The oscar has beat up 2 which I transferred to a 20g, but it seems the worst is over and it has left the other 3 amazons alone.

The 3 silver dollars have not really touched the amazons, maybe a nibble here and there.

I'v had amazons from petsmart/petco in the past and they were destroyed, but these amazons from aquariumplants.com are more hardy and look healther but at a price. These amazons are have a bright green and the leaves are stronger.

If I could do my order over again, I would have bought 2 mother amazon from aquariumplants.com.

Oscars like to play in there environment a plant ,a thermostat ,filter intake ,return anything they can bully around they can and will . Silver dollars are the same way .
