Silver Dollars... Male and female?

I have six speckled silver dollars. Four of them have straight anal fins with bright red coloring and two of them have curved anal fins with no color. I suspect that the red finned ones are males and the clear finned ones are female. Thoughts?

Ps- forgive the overcrowding and odd stock combo, The silver fish are with my friends koi in her 55 because I have a buyer picking up my barbs, pacu and sd's tomorrow. The reason I'm askig about gender is because I'm considering keeping $2 as a clean up crew for the messes the GATF makes. Thanks!
