I just picked up 5 of them at Petsmart for the last day of their sale on them. What I was wondering since I've never kept SD's before is I know they eat Veggies but what all can you feed them.

You can try it but just be sure to remove it if they don't eat it.

Mine eat algae wafers, prawns, peas, Hikari Gold, bloodworm and anything that comes out of the Oscars gills. They aren't picky.

I got some of those SD's for a few cheap feeders and my Piranhas decided not to eat them so now I have two of the little guys running around...
Worst of all the raped my plants

Dam little guys... although I do enjoy watching them eat

they are not choosy....very glutton fish...would eat bloodworms, pellets. both sinking and drifting. market shrimps.

As already said, then eat anything and everything. Especially plants.
Flake, algae wafers, veggies, baby guppies...

was researching SD on the net, was hoping i could stick some in a planted tank. But read that they eat plants! haha good thing I researched first.

I've got a bunch of them mine love romaine lettuce.

Mine have eaten cichlid pellets, flakes and algae wafers for starters.
