I fed mine mostly sinking pellets and spinach. The way they eat spinach reminds me of caterpillars, taking a series of bites in a line on the edge of the leaf.
They'll eat pretty much anything. I was going to buy some more for another tank (I sold the original group because the tank was going to be planted) but they all had ich at the two local petsmarts.
