is your community still a peaceful one, I hope it still looks as nice as the pictures

Thanks for your kind words ^^ it is peaceful. silvers circle each other and asian aros seem to get along. no major injuries so far for quite long time ^^

it looks better in person - especially when the sun is directly shining into the tank - they SHINE :D:D:D:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

They are some very nice aros u got there!!
how long u had them??

hmmm the asian aros almost two years (the smaller HBRTG a year) and the silvers more than two years by now i think (hmm let me check previous threads ... when i joined MFK i already had theese)

Thought i'd post an overall tank shot for scale. The tank is 8'x3'... really tough to clean the back of the tank as it is not easily accessible.

It is exposed to sun in the morning but the UV clarifier seems to be holding up OK.

How i wish wish i converted the 6' tank into the sump. Oh well.

Lets see the filtration. Show us the sump.

?? you can see the sump in the picture. it is just filled with bioballs. there is mechanical filter inside the canopy - you can see the pump inside the aquarium. this pump also pumps water through UV

Wow, them boys is getting big

where does the time go :)

still remains to be seen whether they will go beyond 3' mark. i dont see any reason why not - still got red and black aro on the side lines pending addition (probably not since that would mean too many empty tanks)
