One larger piece of krill once a day. He would munch on it to soften it up, then swallow it, pretty interesting. Also, some of my other fish (Uaru and a severum) would scare him to make him drop his food so they could eat it, so I had to start feeding him on one side and them on the other at the same time.
i have one that is 5". I got it to eat market prawns. I still do live feeders from time to time. I wish i had a 100 gal. thak i would make a nice planted tank. I would put like 5 of these guys in. I have never seen a 12" size. I guess ill have to spend the years growing one out.
How did U guys get these on dead food?
Just the simple starve and feed technique?
