Silver in a 135?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea I dont really want a pbass if it will grow out my tnank in a year. I would get a pair of tiger dats, and/or a gold sev and a bunch of redhook silver dollars.

3 or 4 red hooks would look great with an aro. They are not aggresive and could be kept with a small aro, and would eat the aro's left overs.

Del's right as usual My last silver was 8" when I got him and 20" in about 7 months. I guess if you feed it 2x a week and never do waterchanges than you could house it for 2 years

As long as the aro is at least twice the length of something like an oscar or JD you'll be fine. A 6 inch oscar isn't going to bash up a foot long silver.

But if you're concerned, just get a jardini instead ;)

not if you're concernd for the oscar, lol:naughty:

i'd say up to about a year and a couple of months if you plan to have tankmates in

2 YEARS????

yea right!!

my aro was 24 the second year!!!
My silver grew really slow after he hit 1 ft. I'm just going by personal experience.

I really want the aro to be the centerpiece of the tank, so tank mates would be like silver dollars, and some blood parrots and clownloaches or a lima. Im worried about a lima being eaten.

The Dats sound good with the Aro. How about a Knife fish like a Clown or a Royal?
