Silver on the way!

Your talking about a lot of years before a silver outgrows that tank. We got Pinky at about 7" 9 months ago and she just hit 14". You also have to concider how well an aro can turn so they can live a long time in long narrow tanks.

Just one question... How long will it take this beast to get to 3-4 ft anyway? (my first Aro)

Hmm... If the silver is eating well and you're feeding it genenously, for the first few month growing of an inches plus is possible.

My guess is that it will grow to a good length of 1 feet or so by the end of the year.
