Here&There
My lfs is getting a silver and jardini in soon. I have both on hold but only want one. I've kept silver before (jumped out to death), but i am not familiar with jardini. In general, which is "prettier," grows quicker/bigger, etc.? Any tips/opinions would be appreciated.

Two different fish Jar gets 24" with limited success in large communitys and silvers get 3ft and are more peaceful and great in large communitys.

Which is prettier is up to you.

thanks

Are the jardinis more aggressive or do they like a quieter tank?

Thanks. Still new here.

jars are mean. they live to destroy tankmates. every jar i've seen in person was a complete punk to all it tankmates. i've never seen one jus swim gracefully like a silver arowana.

silvers are awesome, jardinis have nice colors. the choice is yours and yours alone.

jars have a bad rep of being killers. im trying an experiment raising a jar from a baby and packed the tank with tankmates. hopefully by the time he hits the 8" mark he will learn to live with his tankmates. so far so good, he hasnt killed anyone.

Jars become very aggresive when they start to mature up a bit. Silver arowana's are awesome but need a tank at least 6x2x2 but can have a few tankmates, Jars need a large tank as well considering they cant turn around as well as silver or blacks. Silvers are long and look more eel like and jars look more like asian arowana's
