I know Maidenhead Aquatics can get them in, if you have a store up by you.
Not sure on price tho, would imagine around £10-£25 :)

If you find anyone in Scotland that stocks them could you let me know as I'm also looking for a Flagtail.

Last time I got an order from Wildwoods sent up Keith said it would be August time before they had more. I guess because of seasonal flooding

From what I have found on the net, flagtails seem to be seasonal meaning they are only available certain times during the year...

I was under the impression that Fei Feng were able to reach 24" at least. They seem like a big bodied kind of fish, so I really wouldn't be surprised.

They are definately awesome fish. I absolutely love mine. Had it since it was about 2.5", now it is almost 8". They aren't the fastest of growers, but they are deep bodied enough that you really don't have to worry about what you keep them with. Within reason anyway.

A pretty easy fish to keep. Make sure you keep veggies in their diet. Algae wafers seem to work best, but zucchini is another fav. Mine eats just about anything, but LOVES its veggies. :)

I think in a large enough of a tank you could keep a shoal of flagtails. I've never seen a set up where someone tried it really. It might work. :) The reason most people don't keep them in groups is mainly because of their size, and price, but also because its reported they start to bicker with each other as they age.

I have read on the net I forget where because it was a while ago, might of even been on here that some one started with 9 and then ended up with 1... also when ever I saw them at the LFS they are always in separate tanks no mater which store it is.

Hmmm....interesting. I know at the LFS here they had three 7" in a 55gal tank. Perhaps the crowded conditions made them more 'socialable'? They were in there for probably two months before they finally got sold.

For the prices that Rich and Nick get them in at, its almost worth trying it anyway....
