Then probably shouldn't be giving advise on the matter. Arowana can go quite along time(weeks) without eating. Live feeders are the worst thing to give the arowana, the more feeders fed, the harder it will to get it onto proper foods.

Thanks, like i said i know they are not the best for her... i was just worried... i know she is probably like my redtail with the whole hunger strike... but when they get hungry they will eat... so like i said i feel better i know she ate something none the less... so like i said on to krill and pellets... i feed my redtail shrimp so hopefully i can get her on shrimp too so that makes it a little easier during feeding time... with the redtail i turn out the lights and drop the food and bam its gone.. now with the arowana any suggestions on how to feed her... should i hold it and dangle it down till she eats it? Just wondering if anyone has a technique... she is new to me so the trust is not there and she is not used to seeing people just yet... shes still a little skiddish....

there is nothing specific to do.

Forget the aro. Believe me. More than 15 years non stop with aro keeping.

She will eat. The less you fret over it, the quicker she'll eat.

Forget her for a couple of weeks.

alright so i think the goldfish broke her barrier... today i put in some hikari pellets and she gobbled them right up... so this is what im keeping her on and going to try inbetween to feed her a few shrimp here and there and hopefully she gets used to them... thanks alot for the advice guys...
