-attempting to keep more then one silver arrowana .
-first customer to have pick over ten five inch arowana babies june 15 th.
-pick two largest and one that is smaller but seems to have something a little different about it ( shape and maybe color ) in a good way.
- fish are started in a 65 gallon . also have a 45 gallon to be used for separating in case of any problems.
-first day the smallest one is the most aggressive, going after both larger fish. (half inch size dif)
-by second day the little guy has been beaten back some, and now has some fin damage. the largest has now taking place as boss of tank.
-they now have names , largest drako, second in size thunder, and the third, smallest is lotus .
- through out the next few days the fish are feeding on crickets and pellets putting on much needed weight.
-drako ( largest ) is continuing to be aggressive with the other two fish especially toward lotus smallest ).
-thunder ( second in size )seems the least aggressive he moves out of way from either other fish rather then flare up and fight too much
-lotus seems to try and hold his or her own against drako and is taking more damage because of this
- i deside to move lotus to the 45 gallon as his fins are looking a little ragged.
-drako and thunder seem to get along a littler better, just because thunder seems more passive fleeing rather then fighting when drako starts up
- lotus is now healing up in the 45 but dosnt eat as well as the other two do together
-drako is a pretty aggressive fish at times, luckily arrowanas arent really built for speed and maneuverability but hes really trying to take a chunk outta thunder .
- lotus's fins now healed, deside to move drako to 45 by himself to try lotus and thunder together and let thunder heal up a bit
-drako's fins are in perfect shape
-lotus is now even smaller then the other two because he just didnt feed by himself like the other two did being a bit of competition.
-thunder is now the boss of the tank. every once in a while he goes after lotus but at a much lesser intensity then drako did
- after a few days im starting to think maybe theses two will be ok together in most part, just because thunder is the boss but he is defiantly a kinder boss then drako was
- both fish's fins are almost fully healed up and back to normal now
-drako is refusing to eat the other two are eating like crazy
-thunder and lotus growing more then drako now
-drako eats maybe just one pellet or none at all this continues
-drako getting skinny thunder and lotus growing well
-a week or two goes by and i deside to put drako back in with other two just to get him to eat more
-there is a pretty good size dif between them now
-there all now eating and after a little bit of chest puffing from thunder, he seems to have showing drako whos boss now, things seem to be working out i hope this continues.
-so in short , so far, for now, my trio seems to be working. i took the most aggressive fish out of group and basically let the other two get ahead of him in size and then was able to reintroduce him into there territory and order, and he has accepted his place in the group.
