Currently the 150g is dry, until a couple weeks ago it had SA/CA cichlids in it. You can see them in the tank by clicking the SA/CA link in my thread.

No way to connect the two tanks that would really work, plus eventually the 180g will be upgraded to a 72" x 30" x 24" tank so I can also have a jardini

thats a lot of big tanks!
i think they grow about 1.5 - 2 inches when very young.
then at 6 inches it slows to 1 inch a mth.
then slows a bit more when 18 inches.
then much slower when 24 inches.
from my exp. that is.
