Silver?

i finaly ordered a small silver aro today. its coming into the LFS on friday. somewhere between 18$-20$. so my question is what do you guys think the size of a "small" silver is?
im sooo exited! this is my dream fish.
also. can a common pleco be kept with an aro?

"Small" size can vary greatly, and depends on your supplier. Most distributors aren't even consistent between the same fish. You could get a fish that is 1.5 inches with an egg sack, or you could get a fish that is 4 inches.

Common plecos can live with aros, but when they become large watch for aggressive behavior from the pleco.

if its got a yolk sck still should i not take it home and wait for it to lose it first? are they pickey at that size? or will they eat pellates? lol i have thought of so many questions i never had till i actualy got the fish.

They will survive on their yolk sake, but If you decide to still get it I would arrange to pick it up as soon as it comes in, and not let them put it into their water. The more acclimations it has to go through the more likely it is to die.

oops i need to re fraise part of that question. i meant at a small size even without the yolk sac are they pickey eaters?

Each aro is individual. In general they are moderately picky eaters.
