Is your 90 gallon a 48" x 18" x 24"? basically the same footprint as a 75g. I got my silver at 4" he was good for about a year in the 75g tank. At 14" he was starting to get kinda cramped, I would keep an aro much bigger then that in a 4 foot tank. Upgrade as soon as you can.
