I think it's just the angle the fish is in the pix. Its body looks out of normal proportions. I could just be fat, too I tried looking at more pix, but the gallery is down right now. How long have you had it and from what size to what it is now? I hope you didn't mention that before.

I think hes just fat lol... had him for nearly 2 years now and hes just over 2ft, he was in a 3x2x2 before this tank and i got him at 7" or so..
