@meako - hey had a look at your indoor pond build and the aros you rescued after the hurricane, sometime back.. awesome specimens.. brillant tank.. thanks mate..

They were really awesome, unfortunately one of them did jump. But I've since adopted two more 2 foot silvers and one of them again jumped...and then there were two.

Maybe something wrong with my practice of giving them the free will to jump or not...

IMO.. They Are pretty adaptive fishes.. I Even Had a Silver That Beat up a FH so badly.. Its Like a Silver With a Jardini temper..

Ive run powerheads in many aro tanks, all were indifferent to it except 2 silvers at 2 seperate occasions- they loved it, as far as I could tell, swimming up to it quick opening and closing their mouths at it, but not biting it, and swimming in the current for hours, turning to swim away only to not even make it across the tank before swimming furiously back to it- they really seemed to enjoy it

Just thinking if it was possible that they were doing that to scare the source of the current away?
