Are silversides good for feeding my 7in silver arowana
i dont want to try feeders because feeders are no good
were can i get silversides in queens ny
my lfs dont carry them

go for it, i feed lots of my marine and fresh water fish and even my snapping turtle silversides. I wish i could buy them like that! my LFS selling them all forzen together and a pain to take them apart =/

+1 on that, i always end up breakin em into pieces :irked:
 
yah and then when it de frost after you get the rest of the fishes pieces the guts and all that yucky stuff starts coming out of the fish. i hate it! i think am gna spend a lil more money on the frozen canned ones like that in the pic so i dont have this prob.

You little wiener!! lol ... I do have lots of fish.. but never had any big enough to require such a meal... but then again, I really don't know what size silversides come in.. tell me!
 
Drop it in front of the arows face... if your LFS doesn't have them perhaps you can tell him to order them.. they come frozen ..must be refrigerated ..you can also try small shrimp .. cooked or raw.. tails off.. i fill it up with pellets.. for your small guy.. {small broken piece of shrimp and one small pellet inside...yummy and good for him.. take out all uneaten food out.. unless you have a bottom dweller..
