I'm curious what everyone keeps Moray tank temps at? Mine's been bouncing all over the place with ambient temps changing a lot from day to night. Just wondering what I should be shooting for?

Thanks in advance......

You in the wrong part of town, homes

But while you're here my best advice I guess is to find a tropical temp you can maintain 24/7 and keep it at that. Maybe you need a chiller if it's getting really hot?

I guess I never actually answered your actual question. Oops. I keep my golden tail moray at 78 with the help of an airconditioned room and a heater. Knock on wood I haven't seen more than a one degree change in a 12 hour period

Mine is 79-80 at all times.. Had the 4' Zebra for 14 year's.

Really?

I thought it said this was the section for MONSTER saltwater fish.

Guess Morays aren't monsters....

Thanks for the answers though guys....

I moved it to Gen Salt instead of Sharks and Rays for ya.

Thanks Matt....

Any input?

Half the eels are Hawaii natives.

Maybe I'm asking the wrong question... What would an ideal range be?

Right now I've seen as low as 76 and mid summer it was mid 80s. Just been noticing them breathing faster lately and didn't know if mid 70 to low 80s swings could be why or if there's an underlying issue.....
