I've never had a crayfish before. Would it be okay to stick him in with my 10 inch clownknive and 10 inch silver arrowana? I like those little blue guys haha

The arrowana will probably kill it. Crayfish can also be aggressive and eat any fish that will fit in it's mouth. I have cobalts and marbles with babies in a tank alone. I think it's best to house crayfish by themselves, they do the best that way, they become food for any fish when they molt.

Someone will eventually become lunch (or really injured) by someone else in that set-up. Especially with the common blues, they actively hunt and bring down larger (larger than themselves, relatively speaking) fish. And when they molt, they make tasty snacks for most fish.

There goes that idea. I decided that Im going to put him in my 10gallon so thats no biggey. The only crayfish Im familiar with are the electric blues...what are kinds are there that I can put in my 10 gallon. If so, I would like to put in more then one. Thanks.

Could do a few marbled crays in a 10g. A lot of crays don't get along even with members of their own species, so research before you buy. Marbles do alright in groups. Maybe some dwarf orange crays.
