Simple to Care For Herp?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
^Blue tongued skinks are awsooooome! Easy to care for and easy to handle.

Stay away from the chameleons though. They're awsome, but if you want something you can frequently handle and interact with, you won't enjoy it one bit.

I always try and encourage people to try new reptiles. If you liked the bearded dragon and you want something just as social, get a frilled lizard. They're by far my favorite lizard.

And they have a almost grocery store diet:D

What about geckos? They are fairly easy to care for and good to handle :)

Tiger salamanders have got to be the best low-maintainance pet ever, IMO.
4" of eco-earth, a water bowl, a few crickets once a week, no lighting, and a misting in the morning and evening.

Alot of people dislike their burrowing habits, but if you want to see them, keep a piece of black paper against one side of the tank, that's where they'll build a den!

Rankins dragons
and leopard geckos they have to be the best around kids imo!
sorry about the abbreviations dude ..didn't think (:

just looked up the frilled, and if they fit my bill as closely as you say, then you might have made up my mind
Good choise to but they can be pretty nasty and need a more complex habitat than beardeds. If you decide by that one buy only captive breds. Want something trully special? Get yourself a sailfin dragon:D:headbang2The amont of care and dedication is about or even more the one of a iguana but they are worth it;) One of the most beautifull lizards on earth:D
