Simplistic re-scape

I like the tank with the background. The light seems to be shining directly on it, creating the grey look in the photo. I would think that adjusting the lighting on top would reduce this and make the background appear darker and less highlighted. IMO, the wood is a nice shape but is a bit too thin compared to the size of the rocks. I would leave it for now, but would look for something similar but a bit thicker.

I agree with Andrew. It's a nice looking tank but I was thinking it needs something else. Thicker branches would probably do the trick. I'm surprised no one has said a word about your plan to keep the Arowana in the 180. Well you'll see what I mean later on...I guess I'm that guy lol.

Thanks everyone.

Andrew i see your point and i agree. I'll go look for some branches that are thicker, purhaps it will look better when filled out more.

Balton i know what you're getting at. Obviously they won't be staying in this tank for life, that would be cruel. But that's the stocklist where i can put the "finished" stamp on the tank, from what my idea was. Now obviously things and desires change pretty constantly, and once they get too big they'll either be shuffled around tanks, or simply sold. But i have atleast 1½-2 years of enjoyment of them untill then. And by that time i'd probably want another change anyway :nilly:
