Since i've grown up and moved away from home...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This board is my only source of conversation with people who keep fish.

After all my friends got married and had kids, they stopped keeping fish. And really I rarely talk to most of them anymore anyways.

It is SO rare I meet someone with a passion for fish.

So, er... thanks for being my new friends, fish friends at the very least.

Now if we could only get some pics out of you ;)

I know. It's a combination of things.

1. crappy cell phone camera
2. terrible terrible photography skills! :)

This is a great board with people who are nice to me (mostly) ! :)

We can be sure to change that.

.....I mean the "terrible terrible photography skills", of course!

Which is really sad as one of the most fun things with kids (yours or someone else) is sharing your hobby with them. Partly so they don't make the same mistakes you did. When I worked at an LFS the second best customers were father son teams, or unicorn rare Mom, Dad, kid all into fish keeping.

Yeah that sucks they stopped when they started their family, should convince em ti get back in to it - i have a lot of good memories of keeping fish with my dad, we always kept natives of some kind or other, or reptiles i'd catch

Where is your "Nice lake full of game fish!"? Maybe there's another MFK'er nearby with the 'photography skills' you lack, who would come by and take a few pics!
