Tigerfangs wins hands down, IMO for the following reasons:

1)Built a 1000 gallon tank from scratch in his living room and it looked like a piece of furniture and never leaked.

2)Grew several ATF past the 12" mark, very dificult

3)Grew a verified Goliath ATF to 15"+

actually I have a lot of respect for tfangs, I think it's such a shame he had to abandon that brilliant setup and his beautiful ATFs.

He's definitely one of the best.

Everyone here deserves some credit.. Even if you sucked at the beginning you learn so much here and fix your mistakes... there is so much GOOD advice given out... and WAY TOO MANY experts to just choose one or two... Kudos to all!! :)

Obviously people with a lot of knowledge are going to be good fish keepers but I also think the best fish keepers have a wide variety of fish and first hand experience...

Also hobbyists that have kept fish for very long periods of time and grown them to monster sizes. That not only takes skills but DEDICATION....a hobbyist that can keep a single fish for 10yrs plus and still appreciate it as much as they did on day 1 has a lot of respect from me.

I also think that hobbyists that have bred very rare or hard to breed species are above others. That also takes a lot of dedication.

People like Tyson who have made their own unique setups or ponds are also highly respected by me. Li's 24/7 drip system was ghetto but pretty awesome LOL. People like arapaimag who have out done themselves also deserve to be recognised.

Basically I think the best hobbyists are the ones that have been there and done that. Oddball seems to have experienced a lot of things so I would go with him.

good point steve .. .whats know- how, experience and a good selection of fish if the dedication is not there ?

r1 ridah bc i love atf and he has an awsome atf tank i wish i had and the best looking atf i have ever seen

Fish Doctor = Guppy hands down
Tank setup= dieselmack

there are a lot of great people on this forum Odball would probably win my overall vote just for the variety of fish he has kept and seen.

Putting a label on someone is difficult.

All of us are in here for the one reason, PASSIONATE ABOUT CREATURES THAT SWIM. :grinyes:

Each has different level of interest and involvement.

Each has different constrain & limitation.

Some like it small.

Some like it BIG.

Some like it flat (ME:grinyes: )

Some like it green.

Other factors play a part too like climate, water condition, availability of stock, & your country rules.

Having this interest, I am sure we all would want to provide the best base on our ability.

MAXIMUM RESPECT TO ALL:clap :clap :clap

Happy fish keeping.
