Our main failing as a society is allowing the fringe nuts... like a certain hot beverage based political party.... to gain access to mainsteam issues...and influence national direction because they look like america from the" good old days"just because they look like our parents doesn't make them any less angry or wacko....people in 50yrs. Will look back at these people like we do today at the DIXIECRATS....for anybody that doesn't know who they were.... they were the people in the democratic party ,from the south that lost their collective minds when the party(dems) stepped out of the dark ages and supported civil rights....
